The free document checker and public guides are now in beta
The free Includoc document checker and our first public accessibility guides are now open as a beta. Here's what works today and what's still to come.
The Includoc document checker and our first public guides are now open as a beta.
What you can do today
- Check a PDF, Word (.docx) or PowerPoint (.pptx) file for free, with no account, up to 25 pages and 10 MB.
- Get results in plain English, grouped by topic and mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA and PDF/UA, with the matching PAC and Acrobat messages.
- See what needs a person. Items software can't judge, such as whether alt text is accurate, are listed as "Needs review," with guidance.
- Get the full report by email.
- Read our guides, including the ADA Title II guide, how-to guides and explanations of common checker errors.
Files you check without an account are deleted within 24 hours. Our trust page explains how we handle them.
What "beta" means
- Checks are still being tuned. Some results may change as we improve them. If a result looks wrong, email support@includoc.com and tell us which check it was. Only attach the file if it's public.
- Checking stays free. The checker isn't a trial.
- Not available yet: automatic fixing, human verification, accounts and organization plans. We'll announce each one here as it opens.
